If two players have straight flushes, the higher numbered hand wins (2-3-4-5-6 loses to 3-4-5-6-7, for example). (The exception is losing to five of a kind, possible only when wild cards are used - see “Dealer’s Choice” below.) No matter what version of the game you might be playing, from five-card stud to seven-card Texas Hold ’Em, the best hand that can be arranged from five cards gets to rake in the pot.
